A Live Dialogue on Democracy, Security & Human Dignity

Decades of conflict between Israelis and Palestinians have resulted in cycles of violence, civilian suffering, political fragmentation, and weakened democratic institutions. While ceasefires and negotiations have come and gone, a permanent, just, and democratic peace remains out of reach.
This live dialogue is part of Pledge4Peace’s “Create Permanent Peace and Strengthen Democracies in Israel & Palestine” campaign and is designed as a peaceful, and moderated conversation focused on coexistence, accountability, and long-term democratic stability.
This is a structured, moderated dialogue where differing viewpoints are explored respectfully.
Pledge4Peace acts as a neutral mediator, not an advocate for any political party, government, or opposition group. The purpose is to examine democratic challenges and peaceful pathways forward through dialogue.
This dialogue will feature three speakers, each representing a distinct perspective:
• One speaker representing an Israeli perspective
• One speaker representing a Palestinian perspective
• One international law expert
Each participant is free to hold and defend their position, provided it remains nonviolent, respectful, and grounded in dialogue.
This summit follows a multi-phase structure inspired by international peace conferences:
1. Opening Context: Moderator sets shared principles, rules, and objectives
2. Perspective Statements: Each participant presents their position without interruption
3. Guided Dialogue: Moderated questions on the topic. Everyone will have equal time and structured responses
4. Clarification & Reflection: Participants respond to key points raised by other speakers
5. Public Participation: Live audience voting on peace-centered solutions concluded by the speakers
6. Closing Pathways Forward: Summary of key insights
The conflict in Israel and Palestine affects far more than the region itself.
It impacts:
• Millions of civilians living under insecurity and trauma
• Democratic institutions weakened by prolonged conflict
• Regional and global stability
• International norms around human rights, self-determination, and rule of law
This conversation is not about assigning blame. It is about exploring how peace can be permanent, democratic, and rooted in dignity for all people.
After the dialogue, participants and attendees are encouraged (but not required) to:
• Vote on peaceful, non-violent solutions
• Add their own proposals for long-term peace and democratic strengthening
