A Live Dialogue on Security, Diplomacy & Civilian Protection
This online event is FREE and open to everyone.
The date and time may change depending on speaker availability. Registered attendees will be informed in advance.
Pakistan and India share one of the world’s most sensitive and militarized borders. Decades of conflict, unresolved disputes, ceasefire violations, and political mistrust have placed millions of civilians at risk and strained regional stability.
This live dialogue is part of Pledge4Peace’s “Pakistan–India Peace Agreement” campaign and is designed as a peaceful, non-partisan, and moderated conversation focused on de-escalation, diplomacy, and long-term coexistence.
This is a structured, moderated dialogue where differing viewpoints are explored respectfully.
Pledge4Peace acts as a neutral mediator. The goal is to create space for serious discussion around security concerns, civilian impact, and diplomatic pathways toward peace.
This dialogue will feature speakers, each representing a distinct perspective:
• One speaker representing a Pakistan-focused perspective on security, sovereignty, and regional stability
• One speaker representing an India-focused perspective on national security and diplomacy
• One international law expert
Each participant is free to hold and defend their position, provided it remains nonviolent, respectful, and grounded in dialogue.
This summit follows a multi-phase structure inspired by international peace conferences:
1. Opening Context: Moderator sets shared principles, rules, and objectives
2. Perspective Statements: Each participant presents their position without interruption
3. Guided Dialogue: Moderated questions on the topic. Everyone will have equal time and structured responses
4. Clarification & Reflection: Participants respond to key points raised by other speakers
5. Public Participation: Live audience voting on peace-centered solutions concluded by the speakers
6. Closing Pathways Forward: Summary of key insights
Pakistan and India are both nuclear-armed nations. Any escalation carries consequences far beyond the region.
Prolonged hostility affects:
• Civilians living along the Line of Control
• Regional economic development and cooperation
• Global security and diplomatic stability
Peace between Pakistan and India is not just a bilateral issue. It is a global priority rooted in protecting lives, preventing escalation, and building long-term trust.
After the dialogue, participants and attendees are encouraged (but not required) to:
• Vote on peaceful, people-centered solutions
• Add their own proposals focused on diplomacy and de-escalation
