As climate change reshapes the Arctic and geopolitical competition intensifies, Greenland’s future is increasingly discussed in terms of strategy, resources, and military positioning.
This Peace Summit asks a fundamental question:
Who should decide Greenland’s future, and on what terms?
Hosted by Pledge4Peace as part of the Protect Greenland’s Sovereignty campaign, this summit is designed as a peaceful and moderated civic forum.
It is a structured peace dialogue designed to clarify perspectives, surface shared principles, and inform peaceful pathways forward.
Pledge4Peace serves as a neutral convener and mediator, providing a structured environment where differing viewpoints are presented respectfully and explored through guided dialogue.
This summit will feature the following speakers, each representing a distinct and legitimate perspective related to Greenland’s future:
• 1 Greenlandic government or parliamentary representative
• 1 Inuit Circumpolar Council leader
• 1 Danish foreign policy or Arctic affairs expert
• 1 US Arctic security or diplomacy expert
• 1 international law expert
Each participant is free to express their position as long as it remains:
• Nonviolent
• Respectful
• Grounded in dialogue and international norms
This summit follows a multi-phase structure inspired by international peace conferences:
1. Opening Context: Moderator sets shared principles, rules, and objectives
2. Perspective Statements: Each participant presents their position without interruption
3. Guided Dialogue: Moderated questions focused on sovereignty, consent, security, and international law. Everyone will have equal time and structured responses
4. Clarification & Reflection: Participants respond to key points raised by other speakers
5. Public Participation: Live audience voting on peace-centered solutions concluded by the speakers
6. Closing Pathways Forward: Summary of key insights
When geopolitical interests move faster than international law, smaller nations and Indigenous communities are often the first to feel the impact.
This summit is not only about Greenland.
It is about how power, sovereignty, and consent are handled globally in the 21st century.
Following the summit, attendees are encouraged to:

• Submit proposals grounded in diplomacy and international law
