Company Statuses Explained

Every company in the Peace Seal directory has a status that reflects where it is in the certification journey. Here is what each one means:

Peace Seal Verified

The company has completed the full Peace Seal assessment and met our standards for ethical business practices. Verified companies receive a badge (Bronze, Silver, or Gold) based on their score.

Conditional Seal

The company passed the assessment with conditions. They have a limited time to address specific areas before full certification is granted.

Application Submitted

The company has completed and submitted the Peace Seal application. It is now waiting to be assigned an advisor for review.

Audit in Progress

An advisor has been assigned and is actively reviewing the company application, documents, and practices.

Seal Under Review

The company certification is being re-evaluated, typically during a renewal period or after new information has been submitted.

Application in Progress

The company has started the Peace Seal application but has not yet submitted it.

Community Listed

The company was added to the directory by community members through reviews. It has not applied for the Peace Seal but has been reviewed by employees, customers, or other stakeholders. Community reviews help build transparency and may encourage the company to pursue certification.

Nominated

The company has received significant community interest and reviews, earning nominated status. This signals strong community demand for the company to pursue Peace Seal certification.

Did Not Pass Audit

The company went through the assessment but did not meet the minimum requirements for certification. They may reapply after addressing the identified issues.
